EW_2fcEmily Adler joined Schmidt Public Affairs in March 2012 bringing with her a strong background in event management and communications.

 

Previously, Emily was the events coordinator at the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC), a non-profit think tank in Washington, DC. In this capacity, Emily oversaw the conceptualization, messaging and execution of all policy related events focused on healthcare, foreign policy, housing, energy and transportation. During her tenure at BPC, Emily helped double the number of strategic public events held each year. Her responsibilities ranged from organizing Capitol Hill briefings to planning and executing large-scale summits and policy conferences both inside and outside the beltway. Additionally, Emily aided in the development and delivery of the messaging and branding of the organization.

 

Prior to her work at BPC, Emily worked in the communications department at Search for Common Ground, an NGO focused on international conflict resolution.

 

Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and communications from Wake Forest University.
