Prior to joining Schmidt Public Affairs, Elizabeth was a research assistant at Beekeeper Group, a public affairs firm that focused on communications, advocacy, and stakeholder strategy in Washington, DC. During that time, she was responsible for community management, including creating social media content for clients on several social media platforms on an array of advocacy and policy issues. In addition, Elizabeth maintained client WordPress websites which included troubleshooting, post and page creation, and installing and updating plugins and themes through ManageWP.
Elizabeth’s digital capabilities include social media strategy and management; online community and coalition building; online and social media advertising; search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM); web design; Manage WordPress blog and website content development; and graphic design.
Before her work at Beekeeper Group, she worked at the United Nations Foundation, Senator Tammy Duckworth’s Chicago Office, and the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana.
Elizabeth attended college in Indiana at Butler University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Strategic Communications, and Peace and Conflict Studies. In her free time, Elizabeth is a full-time cat mom and an avid antiquer.
