Bryan Yannantuono joined Schmidt Public Affairs in early 2018. As an Account Executive, Bryan excels at providing communications support to our clients’ legislative and regulatory affairs efforts.
Prior to Schmidt Public Affairs, Bryan was a Program Officer at Cultural Vistas, where he managed high-profile Department of State exchange programs. Specializing in program development at every stage of the grant cycle, Bryan successfully wrote six-figure grant proposals, designed all curriculum and logistical aspects of each exchange program, escorted prominent groups both domestically and internationally, evaluated program effectiveness through rigorous M&E procedures, and strategically communicated the impact to key stakeholders in order to gain wider support and secure future funding. With an eye for the creative, Bryan especially enjoys crafting engaging content for grassroots advocacy, social media, and fundraising campaigns.
Devoted to promoting worthwhile causes, Bryan serves on the emerging leaders board for SOUL (Student-Athletes Organized to Understand Leadership), a growing nonprofit that works to enhance student-athletes’ academic performance, athletic ability, critical thinking skills, while promoting self-efficacy. He earned his Master of Public Affairs from George Washington University in December 2018 and his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations & Political Science from American University in 2013. He studied in Beijing as a U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholar in 2011.
A native New Yorker, Bryan has been proud to call the District home for over a decade. When not working, Bryan enjoys photography, seeing underground bands, exploring the city, burying his nose in obscure books, and sampling street food in far-flung corners of the globe.
